1. Who operates Sole Mates
Sole Mates is operated by THE IT CONSULTANT. The organization website is https://theconsultant.asia.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account information such as your name, profile image, email address, home city, sharing choices and account settings. We also process information you provide when you create or join a crew, take part in challenges or use other Sole Mates features.
If you connect Garmin, activity data may include activity type, date and time, duration, distance, pace, heart rate, calories, elevation and related activity metrics when those fields are made available through the approved Garmin API and you have consented to their access.
3. How we use information
We use your information only to operate, secure and improve Sole Mates features. This includes showing your activity history, calculating relevant fitness scores, supporting private crews, challenges and leaderboards, applying your sharing choices, and providing account support.
We do not sell or rent personal information or Garmin data.
4. Garmin data and consent
Sole Mates will ask for your explicit consent before accessing Garmin data. Connecting Garmin is optional. We request and use only the data needed to provide the Sole Mates features you choose to use, subject to Garmin approval and the permissions you grant.
You can disconnect Garmin through Sole Mates when the integration is available. You may also withdraw access through Garmin. After disconnection or withdrawal, we stop collecting new Garmin data. You may request deletion of previously imported data. We delete or anonymize that data following a valid request or account deletion, subject to any lawful retention obligations.
5. Sharing and visibility
You control whether an activity is private or shared with eligible friends or crews. Sole Mates does not make your activity data public by default. You can change your default sharing rule and supported activity-level choices in your account.
Sleep, stress, recovery, resting heart rate and similar health or recovery data is not shared with groups. If Sole Mates offers such sharing in a future feature, it will require a separate and explicit choice from you.
6. Service providers and legal disclosures
We may use service providers to host, secure, maintain or support Sole Mates. They may process information only as needed to provide those services under appropriate obligations. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a legitimate business reorganization subject to applicable safeguards.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide Sole Mates, meet lawful obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of data and why it is held.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your Sole Mates data. You can also update account details and sharing choices within the product. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Children
Sole Mates is not intended for children who are not legally able to consent to data processing in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children.
